Times That Try Men's Souls?

Imagine yourself sitting on your front porch, back porch, lazy boy recliner, or merely your ass; staring up at the the stars the ceiling or whatever canopy covers your head. Imagine yourself wondering and pondering and contemplating the whether of the sun rising the next day. Whether your life would continue on or will it slip from your meager grasp into a blanket of nothingness, tears, and tragedy. We have all been there before. Time and time again myself, to be candid.
We have all sunk into a sea of overwhelming despair. A dreary limbo world where peace and happiness are merely taunting imps. We hate who we are, what we have become, how we got there, but most of all we hate the fact that we are unwilling to do anything about our bleak circumstances.
A very wise woman once told me that attitude is everything. That woman is my mother. As a teen and even a young adult I couldn't help but believe that she was so naive and wrong. That attitude was nothing and money, pride, and stature were everything. I received a crash course in life. Through a series of severely unfortunate events I came to know very quickly that my attitude was and is everything.
Life is everything we make it and nothing we don't. So how in such a desperate mindset can we accomplish anything unless we change. Many look to a higher being to save them from their selves. But even under most theological religions and concepts one principle is taught and agreed upon. God, Buddha, Allah, and every other more powerful being, will only step in and help us once we have qualified ourselves for such help by doing everything we can for ourselves. EVERYTHING!!! Some would make the excuse that they suffer handicaps, disabilities and setbacks. But if only the world could recognize every trial is a trampoline. For with which we can gain new found heights and expectations with each time we contact the mat if we do but one thing. Push back on the force that pushes us. Many of you may not understand this analogy but it isn't hard to figure out so I'm not going to waste time with explaining it further.
Americans, these are the times that try every man's and woman's souls. we have a choice to make and thought the pathway is never clear the trail head absolutely is. Push back on what pushes you. exert your efforts upon life's springed mat and life will without a doubt thrust you forward into success and happiness that you only dreamed of before. Look at the stars, you really can reach out and grab them. It is possible. But in order for one to move forward one must act. Take the first step then the second and third and before you know it the hated life you lived will forevermore be far behind you. You are responsible for all you have and don't have. No person or circumstance can steal that responsibility from you. We cannot choose our lot in life, but we can choose what we do with it. It truly is all on you and it always has been.
In closing. GO AND DO something more with your life today and it will add the inertia and momentum to your cause that you need to get through tomorrow.

Crazy People

I have begun tofind it quite apparent that this world is changing. And when I say changing Imean quite literally changing. It's funny, when I went to school I learned two plus two equals four, I learned the earth is round, I learned that dinosaurs once roamed the earth. Now as I spectate on many of the recent events in this world I am beginning to see that Dinosaurs still roam the earth and rule and control everything on it. The outdated carnivores in Washington spend theirentire lives lurking in the bushes just so they can ambush their next meal...and they call it equity. PAH! I have realized that the earth is no longer roundbut flat. What goes around does not come back around. We are simple and solaceand if we do not do everything we can to simply stay where we are at ratherthan explore new horizons we are doomed to fall off the edge of the earth. Somewould have you believe that by making the wheel a square it will actually workbetter. News flash, though it may look more symmetric on your wall the squarewheel is a fool’s transportation to success. Liberal policies are the same, they take old, used up, outdated, and frankly unforgivingly failed methods, call them all by new names and tell us they are they pathway to salvation. PAH!I learned that two plus two equals four, but my teachers must have been stupidor something because really two plus two equals two. The way liberal DC explains it isthat if I have two and I have two than all I really have is one because itwouldn't be equitable to others who only have one and one. And by that virtueit's not fair to me when some have four and four. You see the angle that the Obamaadministration has taken at finances and mathematics is not addition andsubtraction. It is division. Divide and conquer. Two and two is one. Four andFour is one. One and one is one. PAH!
And who are we as a society to disagree with them after all they make the rulesthey set the regulations. Apparently now they tell us how when and what to eathow to travel when to sleep. What a bunch of bureaucratic liberal sycophant BULL$#!^!!!!!!!
Here’s the simple truth America; we have become apathetic parents. We thepeople in order to create a more perfect union have given up. Well what theHELL are we thinking? We the people should be the parents in this relationshipnot the children the government is there to do our bidding not the other wayaround. They jump when we say jump. They sit when we say sit. BUT we cannothope to control this sadist Marxist government so long as we want to be friendswith them instead of their ever watchful parent. Just like the home where theparents want to be the teen's friend, every time without fail the teen ends uphurting themselves and other people and even killing either or both parties. And look at what our teen is doing hurting and killing themselves and otherpeople!!!! The good news is that there is still time. Time to take backcontrol, time to use the authority given to us by our God, preserved by theblood of those who fought for not our Government, but for our country for thepeople in it. With this power and authority we have the right the duty and theobligation to re-extinct the dinosaurs of Washington, to prove undoubtedly thatthe earth is round and there are consequences and blessings for all our actionsand inactions, and finally we can and will show that Mr. Bobs third grade classof 1997 did learn math correctly.
Do you care at all America? Or does common sense fall deaf upon the ears ofcrazy people residing in an apathetic and comatose nation!?

Fecal Finances

money money money! Who doesn't want more of it. Anyone who raised
their hand is now labeled an idiot except for those humble men and
women under vow to live poverteous, celibate lives. They can just do
their own thing I won't bother them. But as for the rest of you, you
must be wondering where all your hard earned money is going.
it's not going to the war we are participating in less and less
with each passing day. It's not going to your children's failing
education system. The Benjamin's sure as hell aren't piling into the
social security system that won't be there for you when you are to old
to move. So where is the money. Show me the money. Between the failing
economy and billion dollar bailouts is where many of our treasury
overlords would like you to believe your sacred greens are working
diligently to protect the system.
all of this talk of green begs the question, what on this
apparently decaying failed earth happened to the American economy.
thousands suffer without work. Their starving deprived children
struggling to keep the whimpering limited to a dull roar so that their
parents with their backs against the wall can strive to think clearly
enough to find some kind of foothold of reassurance to cling to. Men
and women all across the country lie in bed all night wondering if
tomorrow will be worth waking up to. The sense of personal loss and a
perpetual lack of purpose has stolen their desire to breathe.
today as I skip past the heights the hills the Hampton's and the
villas I find myself dumbfounded. The problems America faces seem
merely a speed bump to those elaborately favored people. But to those
living in the dumbell tenements, hovels, over mortgaged homes. To those
wearing a smile made of bright red makeup only to cover the worried
hatchet wound grimace they bear as they fight for survival, this is
their great depression. Our leaders would have u believe we are in a
recession, that the climb only took a short break for lunch but it
will be back. Tell that to the man with one foot over the edge because
he can't support what he loves the most... His family. His life is
hell. And this hell is his great depression.
I imagine I sound very dark. Very pessimistic. Very overdone. Well
I have accomplished my goal then. The alarm clock is ringing and rain
is pouring down. WAKE UP AMERICA!
sure the world hasn't ended. But to continue to allow ourselves to
be lured into the sense of false security that Leeds us to feel we are
safe and doing good enough is nothing more than a
Death trap to democracy. What is a government bailout? What is
government policing? It is governmental control. It's is the very
thing that the constitution guards against. Our three branches of
government were put in place to serve the people and protect the
people from attack of any kind be it foreign or domestic. Be it
tangible or emotional. They are there to protect is from other and
ourselves. So who, I ask, is supposed to protect us from them and
their follies?
the blatant answer to that is us! It's our responsibility. Like I
discussed before we have the job to elect support and defend those who
are sincere. Because of our failure we have allowed money suckling
whore mongers to rape mother America. And now she lies in a ditch.
Wounded and hurt. Those same people who committed the crime stand
innocently on the soap box shouting. "he ran that way." let's be
sensible about this people, the first one to the crime scene is always
the villain and the victim!
let's be sensible about something else. In a perfect world morals
and values would rule the phychi of those making decisions for us. But
where have even one of you seen that this world is even close to
perfect. So what rules the thought process of all those who push for
whatever they choose to enact? The answer is basic. Money! It's all a
cash grab. America goes to war. Why? Because someone somewhere lost
money. America lightens taxes. Why? To make it easier for consumers to
buy and sell so that cash flow picks up then when it's plateaued they
can re manage tax rates and collect the ensuring flow of cash brought
in by the spending habits of a healthy economy.
government is a business. Lobbying is a business. Police work is a
business. Being president is a job. Being a senator pays well enough
itself. You can't tell me that the financial factor isn't the most
influential topic of discussion when America makes a decision. And if
you are naive enough to try to convince me of that well I defy you to
the end.
many will say wow look at the world economy it's down too. America
just got caught up in a global landslide. I call bull----  the world
piggie backed Americas economy for decades. Just like when you did
chicken fights in the pool as a child, when the bottom falls the kid
one his shoulders finds it impossible not to be drug down as well. The
world didn't drag America down. We drug the world economy down.
so in a nut shell we are in this financial cesspool because someone
somewhere, who we put there through our own lack of knowledge and over
confidence, is making and or saving billions by doing this to the
economy. Who is it? Well don't ask me! I'm just a nothing person who
sees the common sense factor amidst the ocean of lies and deceit.
so ho do we fix the problem? Well now I do have some good input on
that.
your down. On your knees. You've just been sucker punched in the
back of the head. A large crowd stand behind you. You can't be sure
who did it. Then one or two separate from the crowd and offer you a
hand. Human nature is to take it and feel OK because of their
compassionate nature. Common sense should be telling you not to take
that hand. I know my gut is telling me not to trust the crowd who
knocked me down. Not to depend on them to build me back up. My obvious
gene says hey Carson. Wait a moment let's think about this rationally.
Why would they want to turn around and do that. I think for a moment
and realize that if I wanted to leech a system I would take what I
could and then coax the system back to health so I can do it again.
Does a farmer not reap the same crop he so lovingly sowed? Does he not
replant every spring and harvest every fall. Hello America your a
field of corn. Pawns on a chessboard.
many of you may be saying oh my would you listen to this wayward
child's conspiracy theories. To them I say good luck. Cause they are
going to need it. These are the same idiots who truly believe the
civil war was fought over slavery. News flash morons it wasn't. It was
fought to preserve control. To preserve the union. Deny it all you
want it doesn't change what is and isn't reality.
so back to getting on top of this game. How do we do it?  We take
back what's ours! We do it ourselves. Relying on help will only
perpetuate the cycle that led us here.  That means Jack if you got
fired from IBM and the only job u can take is at burger king. Well
take it. At least you'll be supporting yourself. You won't sit all day
every day waiting for your check to arrive. The check which is always
just enough to keep you where your at. Susy if you were a high end
sales rep for whatever and you can only find work at wal-mart part
time. Take it! Use the spare time to figure out yourself how to stand
back up. If you are looking for a support group why not choose the
larger one. The one in front of your face who you know didn't knock
you over. The one made up of every man and woman who can empathize
with you. Not the jackasses who lend a hand accompanied with mocking
laughter.
here we are people. Backs to the wall. The wolves are pressing in.
They offer us the cattle racks that will allow us to file back into
our appointed place in society. What's our best option? Climb the damn
wall! You see in front of you snapping teeth that threaten your desired seccesion. You
see a set path. There is no liberty and justice for all here. You see
the hay bales lined up for your health and support. What's over the
wall? Hell I don't know I'm right here with you but I know two things
I know I can climb it. And I know no matter what's on the other side I
can face it standing up like the proud American I want to be! What do
you know about yourself?

Make the Change?

This post is written primarily in response to the first comment under the post titled, elephants and asses. the commenter made several comments and questions i would like to address.
For starters, it was mentioned that in essence if we do not vote and do not register to vote than we have no place speaking out about the way the world is. I disagree in a major fashion. In my opinion, if one feels that in order to do whats right they must vote one way or the other then yes you must. By another token though, if one feels they can and will speak out and make their voice heard i firmly believe it can be done without voting. For instance, in the 2008 presidential election i did not even register to vote. I felt very strongly that neither candidates would be for the benefit of our country if elected. I understand many feel and voted based on the idiom that at least one is greater than the other but to me to make a bad decision is a bad decision even if a worse decision could have been made. So rather than vote in that particular election I chose instead to be sure to clearly and concisely state my standings to all who asked and many who didn't. I feel I still stood and fought for what I personally believe in.
Secondly, to address the question of how do we bring about change. How do we overcome all the odds? How do we make one voice carry upon the winds to all ears? The answer is simple; JUST DO! Do what you might ask. Well, hell if I know. I'm not your boss, I'm not your coach. My intention is simple, I am your cheerleader. Yes my voice makes no difference. Yes your voice carrys as much levy as doggy deification's in a brown bag, and yes there is not a single person on earth who can alone make a difference or make a change. But together, as one, saying the same thing, doing the same things, fighting the same fight, we can and will win.
What difference did Paul Revere's midnight ride make? Absolutely none! He personally was just another man on another horse. But the message he carried, from those who strived, to those who cared enough to do something with it, that was where the power and importance of his ride came to life. What could George Washington have accomplished without a headstrong army behind him and a congress forging the way through the political cesspools of their time.
Here is the answer. JUST DO! Do not try. Do not consider action. DO! and as you do your capacity to do more will increase. As you strive every day to make the world a better place you will find the answers more readily available concerning the which of your actions. So American, and Americans I say to you one final word. DO!
